Webhooks

Summer Upsell subscribes to a small set of app-level webhooks. They run server-side; merchants don't need to configure anything.

Field	Description
orders/paid	Reads each line item's `_summer_upsell_camp` property, records the conversion and its revenue against the originating campaign, and checks whether an auto-upgrade is needed.
app/uninstalled	Cleans up sessions, cancels pending billing URLs, and schedules data retention.
products/create	Adds the new product to the catalog cache used by Basic AI, Summer AI, and the storefront runtime.
products/update	Keeps cached titles, prices, images, tags, and variants in sync so widgets never render stale data.
products/delete	Removes the product from the cache so deleted items can't be recommended.
app/scopes_update	Refreshes permissions if scopes change between releases.

Tip: The three products/* webhooks keep a Mongo catalog cache warm. That cache is what lets AI-sourced widgets render instantly instead of querying the Admin API on every storefront page view — it's also why a brand-new product can appear in recommendations within seconds of being published.
