Translations

Multi-language

Stores serving several languages can translate every storefront string of a widget. The widget reads the visitor's Shopify language at render time and shows the matching text.

How it works

  1. Open a campaign and click the Language tab.
  2. The Default language block holds the default title, button text and any other storefront string for that widget (e.g. Section Title and Discount Banner Text on Post-Purchase, the AI label on Summer AI campaigns).
  3. Click Add another language, pick one of the languages your store publishes, and enter the translated strings.
  4. Publish. The widget picks the right strings automatically based on the visitor's language.

Available languages

The list comes from the languages published in your Shopify store (Settings → Languages / Markets). Default text is pre-filled in English, Spanish, French, Arabic, Turkish and German.

Fallback

If the visitor's language isn't added on the campaign, the widget shows the default language block.

Admin language

The Summer Upsell admin itself is available in English, Spanish, French, Arabic, Turkish and German — switch it from the Language item in the app navigation.
