Installation

Install from the Shopify App Store

1. Open the Summer Upsell listing on the Shopify App Store and click Install.
2. Approve the requested permissions — Summer Upsell asks for read_products, write_products, read_discounts, write_discounts, read_themes, write_app_proxy, read_markets, and read_locales.
3. You'll land on the Campaigns dashboard. The Free plan is enabled by default — no credit card required.

What permissions are used for

Scope	Why we need it
read_products / write_products	Read your catalog and create the synthetic bundle products used by FBT discounts.
read_discounts / write_discounts	Generate Shopify Function discounts for bundle and upsell offers.
read_themes	Detect the active theme so we can show install hints in the admin.
write_app_proxy	Register the /apps/pars-upsell proxy used by the storefront widgets.
read_markets / read_locales	List shop locales for translation overrides.

Uninstalling

Removing the app from Settings → Apps and sales channels automatically removes app blocks, the embed, and any Function-backed discounts created by Summer Upsell. Your products, customers, and orders are untouched.
